iBooks, Higher Resolution and 24 Millions of these : iPhone 4G

Apple surely isn’t pleased with odious prototype pictures and videos of it’s latest creation, iPhone 4G but readers are surely delighted. To add more to it, we have Digitimes with some exclusive report.

As report split up, FoxConn will be shipping 24 Million Pieces of the latest iPhone which is expected at the Apple’s WWDC (World Wide Developer Conference) on June 7th. 4.5 million units in first half and rest 19.5 million in the other half.

THe device will sport FFS (fringe-field switching) technology, which makes it more sensible for the “coming of the iBooks to iPhone” by making the viewing angle wider and better viewing quality under sunlight. Arm Cortex A8 processor, 512 MB ram all ready to welcome OS 4.0 to iPhone 4G. iPhone panels have been prepared to fit in larger battery by shrinking panels by 33%.

Apple developing the Technology of Future for your iPhone?

To add to the upcoming patent wars (hopefully from Nokia and HTC), we have Apple publishing as many as 16 new patents covering mobile technology. They possibly could be breakthrough in the way people do things, everyday.

This patents which arrived at the US patent office yesterday suggest the evolution of a new kind of feature in your iPhone. Remember old days, Technology was related to WHAT. Today, it’s related to WHERE. Geo-location tagging, Augmented reality and apps with support from them pouring into app stores probably provoked Apple too.

Just imagine, if you just walk into a restaurant and you get the Menu on your iPhone directly? Or, suppose you go to Library and you get the whole database downloaded to your iPhone in a second? Well, thats the plan at Cupertino’s notorious office. They are going deeper into location based services and this could be a feature in the future iPhones.

This simple, you thought rocket science huh? As soon as the device enters the WiFi Hotspot range, the location data (latitude, longitude, direction, etc.) is calculated and is communicated. Once the location of the device is approved, all the data from the content delivery network is downloaded on your Device. Neat.

Commercially, scope is wider but educationally it’s more wider than we can imagine. This technology could even possible reduce the load of books or maybe those bulky laptops? Mr. Nerd, no more carrying hot girls, books home. Instead, repairing iPhones!

Verizon and Google to give birth to the iPad killer

The trail of iPad Killer has just begun with RIM’s blackpad. If you were hoping for insanely great competitors to iPad, we’ve got Google and Verizon planning to do something with the newly inaugurated Tablet market.

Lowell McAdam, Verizon’s CEO showed that the company was enthusiastic about tablet market. It has to be, with all those credit cards being swiped for AT&T data plans which come compiled with the iPads.

Verizon’s relation with Google has been strengthened especially after the Motorola’s Droid launch which flaunted Google’s Android running on it along with Verizon as its carrier. Mr. McAdam, a spokesperson for Verizon said,

What do we think the next big wave of opportunities are? We’re working on tablets together, for example. We’re looking at all the things Google has in its archives that we could put on a tablet to make it a great experience.

For carriers, the main business is in the cell phone market, but looking at the rapid growth rate, it would be a mistake to leave the netbook and tablet behind. Apple sold about a million iPads in 28 days and more to come, which surely means $$ for Apple and lot many subscribers for AT&T.

The tablet details haven’t surfaced yet, but we are sure the tablet will run the the Android OS. Google did not speak anything except that anyone can use the company’s mobile software to create phones and other devices.

It’s a must on both, Verizon and Google’s part. Verizon must add on more subscribers and has to get into the tablet carrier market because if you see, AT&T apart from the iPad is also the official carrier for Amazon’s Kindle. Google Vs. Apple is already tornado-ing the markets. Google got into the phone market with Nexus one and android, Apple got into the advertising business with iAd. Google needs a tablet of it’s own to grab its age old hold on advertising.

Rest all’s well in the world of tablets for now with iPad stores going out of stock due to excess iPad demands.

Sony isn’t the Enemy, Apple is : Nintendo

It’s not been an eon since Nintendo last claimed it’s enemy : Sony. Big N didn’t take time calling Sony a already defeated enemy after looking at sales figures which are well above it’s Microsoft and Sony Counterparts.

Major sellers, Nintendo Wii took a 21% decline in sales, and financially a drop of about Y51 Billion while maintaining it’s supremacy over other consoles. Lastly Nintendo called the iPhone OS premature for game developments, but Nintendo’s CEO himself came over to state Apple as it’s future enemy.

This is quite visible because the developers fleeing to the app store to have their own share in the gold rush. With over thousands of gaming applications, Motion Sensing and HD support make iDevices a complete blockbuster pack for family gaming. iPad crossing a million sales in meagre amount of time could have hurt Nintendo’s sentiments because, not now but in future it obviously meant the Cupertino guys were coming to raid the gamers market too!

Nintendo is looking forward to revive the “surprise” level amongst it’s products and bring back the magic. Waiting to see what they’ve got next.
