Here comes a App called Magnify which magnifies 4x and has a AutoFocus feature. It also supports Dim Light areas like your favorite romantic restaurant. So now you don’t need to battle to read the small text written on the reverse side of Packet Labels.

Well, Google has got into advertising by all the means possible. Videos, Flash Games. Now it’s turn for maps.

Recently Some Sponsored ads were spotted on the Google Maps app for iPhone. Along with your search query it will also provide a local sponsored link, for example below you see a image of when we search for “Sushi New York” we will get a local sponsored link  to a restaurant. 

Well, iPhone is the Default Maps App for iPhone and use this advertising technology may yield Google a lot of revenue and would be beneficial to Advertisers too! Google has expanded it’s advertising technology to all the fields and this is just one of them. 

Well, as per whispers around, Apple is also developing its own technology for Maps to replace Google Maps and then maybe it will bid a GoodBye to Google!

Well i am using Apple Products which include a iPod touch + iPhone and one reason why i had actually bought them was the App Store. It contains Applications developed by people from all over the globe, each app being very useful in some or the other way. Now many of Apple users were disappointed to find there’s no App Store for Mac OS. 

So what? It’s all up to developers! And now presenting to you, Bodega, a app store where users can fins useful applications for their Mac OS. It’s same like the App store for the iPhone. It contains categories ranging from audio to widgets. Picture 4

Since it’s just released you won’t find as many apps in the directory as the app store for the iPhone but this is a very helpful Software to download if your always looking for some or the other way to ease your work out. This contains both Premium (Paid) and free apps.

Yahoo Messenger for iPhone is now Live!

A great new for iPhone users! Yahoo has officially released a Yahoo Messenger for Iphone. But what features are available? Here’s a part from their blog post which will help you leanr more.

 

Instant message: Send text messages back and forth with your friends, including emoticons and web links.

Photo sharing: Take a photo on your iPhone and send that, or grab one from your photo gallery to share.

Stealth settings: Sign in as invisible, or change your status to invisible once you’re in the app.

Custom status message: Enter a custom status message for your friends to see. You can even include a web link with it.

Recent conversations archive: Under Messages, tap a contact and you’ll see your most recent conversation. You can type in a message from there to start chatting again.

Special idle state: If you have to leave the app for whatever reason, like a call comes in or you click a link in an IM that takes you to Safari, the Yahoo! Messenger for iPhone app will keep you signed in but change your status to idle. That way you can continue to receive messages and provided you return to the app within ten minutes, pick up where you left off.

Additional settings: Tap the Settings icon to change the sort order of your contact list, or to show or hide offline contacts in your list.
