I know lot of bloggers around who want to earn big money but have 0 traffic.
What is the reason , while this is what everyone wants to know.

I know why and i will tell you how to completely reverse it.

Problem with Publishing Platform – If you are knew my tip to you is to choose wordpress for your blogging platform as there are many plugins which will help make your blog user friendly. And if you use blogger , if you are getting high traffic , over 50k per month , please do shift to wordpress then as you will be able to give your users a better experience.

Problem With Content and niche – Most blog contain only One topic like only increasing traffic , now if any one who comes to your site and is interested in your content will always be a webmaster , as commoners wont want to read all that stuff but if you write content about some gadget or something you will surely be able to get some good audience. Or even if you write long ……..long posts you will surely loose traffic as people like it short and sweet.

Problem With Blog design – You probably don’t get traffic because your blog is filled with ads and less of content , chuck those ads until you receive plenty of traffic i.e 10k (atleast). Your navigation , if not good will be the main reason for you to loose traffic , so make it easy and very simple. Make sure the text size is also good or if you have tiny text no one will use a magnifying glass to read your content. Always add a search bar to the top of you blog as this makes it easy for anyone to search your blog. Here are some really cool designs for your blog.

Problem with Search Engines – Main Traffic bringers , and if you have a problem with them , not they but only you will suffer. First try creating Sitemap for your blog ( Sitemap: it is a list of all webpages of your website) and submit it to google. Make Search frinedly urls, make sure your post url (www.yourblog.com/topic/your~blog~post) contains all needed keywords.

Problem with you – If you don’t know how to reply back to comments on your blog , or you don’t know how to reply back to user feedback than i think you should really stop blogging (joke!).
You should make sure that the language you use on your blog should be clean and should have the least spelling mistakes.

Problem With Language – Make sure You add a language translation tool to your website or else you will miss out readers who visit your blog but don’t understand your language. May be this post will help you.

DO some corrections to your blog and then see them reading every damn post.

1. Good template – Afterall Presentation matters , so you need to get a good template. I advice you not to use advertisements at least for 2-3 months if you started you blog recently. It’s helps you to build search engine ranking and also to attract readers because if they see ads they will surely exit and also this takes away a lot of space. For WordPress users they have a wide variety of templates available all over the internet , some good wordpress websites are -

2. Using Feedburner’s or feedblitz Email Subscribtion -Now it is your turn to choose which email subscription service you want. I would advice you to use Feedblitz as it offer’s much friendly user interface and also the email’s sent by feedblitz are quite arranged i.e the have recent posts link, then they have many other options in the email itself so try using that.

3. Using Facebook to catch hold of readers – Now after you have completed attacking your user’s Mail inbox not it’s time to go social. Try Making Groups and Pages about your blog on facebook and other social networking websites. This will help you to get in touch with readers much easily and also send them updates about your blog.

4. Make Toolbars for your website – Now the next thing to attack is the reader’s browser. Now create a toolbar for your website with search options which directly search your blog or even some updates so whenever they access the internet the first thing they see if your blog.
Conduit is a service which will allow you to create some cool free toolbars for you website.

5. Sms updates for your blogs – Now set’s go to the Other side and access the readers at any place in the world and the smartest way. Try using Google’s Sms Channels to allow users to subscribe to your blog and receive updates anywhere in the whole wide world.

6. Using twitter to get some good traffic – Now it’s time to get back to where we were. Use twitter to send updates to your readers via twitter as most people now only log on to twitter and that’s it.

8. Topic posting – Write Topics which may rise interest not ony in the mind of webmasters but also the common people i.e if you write a post on how to run a apache server on your computer and ……… , the reader’s will only consist of people who know what it is, but if you post a about a cellphone you will be able to gather much more traffic.

9. Few of the best but need a lot of effort ways to increase traffic – As soon as you post the content just digg, reddit , stuble upon it. Make this quite quick so that you can get more visitors because if you are a news reporter reporting about a story which happened 10 hours back while the other news reportes have already telecasted it who will give a damn for your post?
So use social networks to get traffic like anything.

11. The recent posts widget, on in the sidebar so that users can read some of your recent posts and if they are interested they will click. You can install one widget on your blog by using feedburner’s Buzz boost. A complete instructional post has been given here.
