How to Copy/Crack a Decrypted (Protected) DVD within Seconds!

Imagine this situation : You wanted to see a movie badly, but the movie is no longer in theaters. Your friend has the DVD you want to see. The problem is that you don’t have the time to see it, So you try to copy it. What you see is that the DVD is protected. What now ?? You cant see the movie, You cant copy it, what a rip off !!

What you have to do -

Put in the DVD.
Select the files.
Then Decrypt it using the software downloaded.
The software creates a folder where all the files are located.
Select the files and create a Data DVD.
You are set to go!

How to : Use GPS on WiFi Only iPad

I see the Wifi only version of iPad, kinda get transformed to the 3G version. Remember the MyWi app to use iPhone’s 3G on iPad? It filled in one gap in the Wifi Only iPad.

Next, you would have found out that the 3G-less version of iPad lacks GPS too. Sad na? No more. Just follow this tiny hack and have GPS on your iPad too!

Jailbreak your iPad (Ignore if you have already done it).
Get the BTstack GPS app from Cydia (worth $5).
Turn off Bluetooth from your settings.
Select the app and wait till it locates a external GPS device.
Once done, let it Pair.
Once done, it will accurately show your location and the data will start flowing in.

Now you can get out of that app and run other apps which require location Data. It will be carried forward by the app itself!

For all those old-schoolers who still have not been able to recover from the dazzlement of MultiTouch, here’s a trick that will get the traditional pin and point cursor back to your iPad.

With this magic app called BTstack Mouse you will be able to use the Magic Mouse or any other Bluetooth mouse right on your iPad. My Grandfather would probably love this.

Not long since iPad got it’s first jailbreak than did the App shower started. Voice Control, Texting and a couple lot of apps poured into Cydia’s store making the iPad capable of thing Apple would have allowed – not.

One thing which major iPad users lamented was the incapability to read 3rd party external storage devices. Pack it up, we’ve got an hack for that.

What you need for this hack

iPad (Jailbreak required)
Camera Connection Kit
External Harddrive
Mac (Not sure if you can do it with windows either)

How to run Google’s Android on HTC Windows Mobiles! (hack)

Feeling sorry for Windows 6.5 which crushed all the expectations, similar to something what happened with Windows Vista. Now till windows comes up with something as good as Windows 7 for your mobile you would probably like switching to Android, Google’s open source OS which powers Motorola’s Droid

Here’s a how you can do it.

Format all that data on your HTC Windows Mobile so that, no problems later and you can expect better performance.
Download Android for HTC from here. A complete package with Android for HTC.
After downloading it’s time to download HaRET. You need to download this app because this app will allow Android to run in the Windows Mobile environment and reboot as Android. Note : The Phone won’t boot as Android on starting because it’s dependent on this app.
After Downloading all the files it’s time to spread them over your external storage, unzip all the files on your external storage or internal storage in case of HTC Diamond. Be sure to unzip all the files in the Root Directory.
Seems like your done with it. Ahem, i forgot that you should make sure that the Startup.txt is the one matching with your Cell Phone Model. The Default Package came with RAPH100 but you need to find out the exact code, just Google your model name to get it.
It’s time to enjoy stuff after hardwork! Start HaRET app from your Windows Mobile phone and wait for it to reboot as Android. There you go!

How To Make A Webpage Your Desktop Background

There are many blogs out there worth following. But, there are some blogs from which you can’t take your eyes off. Now, if you have a blog/webpage like that on your than this trick is useful for you. With this trick, you can make any webpage as your desktop background and be completely updated.

To do this trick,

1) Copy the following code in the notepad.
<html><body bgcolor=”#000000″> <iframe src=”http://www.favoritewebpage.com” mce_src=”http://www.favoritewebpage.com” width=”1020″ height=”780″></iframe> </body> </html>

2) Replace http://www.favoritewebpage.com to your desired webpage. You can also change the body background (bgcolor) to your desired color by changing the hexadecimal code.

After copying and doing the necessary edits,save the document as “.html” file. Now you have to see a webpage icon instead of notepad icon.

Now, right-click on your desktop and go to “Properties” dialog. There select “Desktop” tab and click on “Browse”. Browse the above file and apply it as the desktop background.

That’s it! Now, you can see your favorite webpage on your desktop always. Here is a pic of how it looks.

Mac OS X has many features, and most of them are hidden and they won’t reveal until you search for them.

My System Preferences

Today, when i was just changing my Wallpaper on my Computer, i just clicked on Speech in the System Preferences. Well, then what i found was the Text to Speech stuff, which in Windows is known as Windows Narrator.

Well and Good that Mac has it. But then i saw another feature, called Speech Recognition. I clicked on it. All i saw was Speakable Items Written on Top with options, to Click on or off. Following my age old habit, i clicked on and waited to see what happened.

Some Small Circle like thing popped up with a Microphone drawn on it, and it had something written over there, “Esc”. So, i just pressed “Esc” and the Mic Started Receiving Voice. Good. I started singing….

But then, i though what is it exactly? And i don’t know what happened or was it a co-incidence, i said “Apple” and at that time i was Watching some YouTube Video. A new tab opened with Apple.com!

Well, that was just the starting. I went back to the settings, and dug in, like i always do and found out many, many commands which could be used do save time, and just do simple tasks.

When keeping “Esc” pressed (or any other key which you can assign in the Speech Settings), i just spoke “What time is It?” and then i heard some voice repeating my question with the answer.

And if that’s not enough, you could assign your own names too, for example i landed on hop.im (My Url shortening service) and i just said “Make This Page Speakable” and then some Box Popped out asking me to type in something which could be said by me everytime i want to open the page. I named it Hop. So, now every time i say “Hop” it opens hop.im in my broswer. Same With Twitter, Google and Apple (Ofcourse) and many more.

Just a Tip : Using a External Microphone is suggested because the internal one’s are located at odd places, and in order to record it clearly you need to take lots of pains, so a external would rock. Also, there have been lots of problems i have been facing with this because of some Accent problems, Our (Indian) English is way different from those of the Americans.

Google Wave App for IPhone : Super Simple Hack to get it

Google wave is pretty up with the buzz. One thing many did not notice was looking for an app for iPhone. No wonders people were busy for looking up invites instead of searching for apps and mobile support etc.

Here’s a Step By Step Tutorial to yours.

Once you have a Google Wave invite Jump, Dance. Then go to wave.google.com on your iPhone. There you will be greeted with a message that Wave does not support your browser. Now you’ll know, Google is Lying.

Now, click on Go Ahead you will be taken in, and you will find the iPhone version of Google Wave! Don’t believe me? Check out the picture below i took from my iPod.

Now how do you get is as a App? So Simple. While your still on the page, just click on the “+” icon where you have to select the option “Add to Home Screen”.

Then type in the name as whatever you think should be. In my case i took it as Google Wave. Then, select the image and i prefer selecting the image as the Google Wave logo.

That’s it. There you go, a Google Wave app on your iPhone!

Now You might be thinking, isn’t this Safari which will be coming back? The Answer is no. It’s not. It will show the WebPage in Full Screen giving a app like appearance.

Note : I just Found that people are having problems with the app due to it’s slow speed. I guess its not a prob with your Phone or Connection but Google Itself.

Prank : Shut Down Computer by simply clicking a icon

Ever thought of how to log off / restart / shut down a pc by just clicking on an icon? Or wait playing pranks with friends by making him click on My Computer Icon and shutting down his system? Here’s how to do it.

Well the trick is to make a Fake icon .Which is now more than easy to create with the instructions given below.

How to get it done :
1.) Right click on the desktop in a blank space.
2.) Select new.
3.) Click where it says create shortcut
4.) Where it tells you to type a location type in one of the codes below:

-If you want there computer to shutdown type this in:
shutdown -s -f -t 60 -c “type a message you want to appear here”

-If you want it to log them off type this:
shutdown -l -f -t 60 -c “type a message you want to appear here”

-If you want it to restart there computer type this:
shutdown -r -f -t 60 -c “type a message you want to appear here”

5.) Click OK and name it My Computer.

6.) Right click on the file you just made and click properties and look for where it says change icon.

7.) find the icon that is the same as the “my computer” icon

8.) change the icon and wait for the victim to open my computer, then it will shutdown / log off / restart.
