iPhone 4S bangs the Indian Market On 25th November

By far it’s been the quickest entry of the latest iPhone into the Indian Market (Officially, that is) from the date of launch. iPhone 4s is going to be offered by two carriers in India. They are Airtel and Aircel. Aircel has already begun its advertising campaign flooding its galleries with banners. Pre-ordering will begin a week before launch. This has been made official on Aircel’s Facebook page.

Airtel is said to be offering a premium price of Rs 35,000 (US $690)  for 16 Gb model while 32 Gb is said to be 41,000 (US $809) Indian Rupees. You will be bundled with a contract with your service provider. While Apple Stores offer factory unlocked for higher prices. Such as 16 Gb for 41,850 Indian Rupees, 32 Gb for 50,250 Indian Rupees and 64 Gb for 58,650 Indian Rupees. These prices exclude local taxes which will shoot the prices further high!

The iPhone 4 will then only be offered in 8GB version and the price is going to fall about Rs. 10,000+ ($235) from its current price especially because of capacity variations. The 3GS is likely to continue with the current price (Rs 19,900).

Now Siri works perfectly on iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G!

Siri was launched exclusively for the iPhone 4S but hackers have managed to get through. They have been able to port Siri to the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G. This proves that the A5 processor (bundled with 4S) is not a compulsion for Siri to work. There are about 20 steps after which Steven Troughton Smith managed to get it working.

If you are wondering, “How to get Siri working on iPhone 4 and iPod Touch?” then here’s a flat answer – They’re not planning to release it to the public because it’s illegal to repack Apple’s code and distribute it. But I don’t think it will take more time for other hackers to get this working and release it once we know it’s possible. And we will update you on this as soon as it’s released. Have a look at the video after the break.

White iPhone is no more : Apple decides to pull it off

Apple’s known for perfection. Almost every product is crafted with perfection and that gives the customers a perfect reason to buy the iPhones. Proof : iPhone 4 sales tapering 3 Million and bringing huge profits to the company.

The White iPhone which was delayed for the third time is being rumored to be kicked out of Apple’s league.

Reason : Apple’s Camera. The Semi-translucent glass case at the back leaks light in resulting in the camera’s poor performance especially when the Flash is used. Apple’s not ready to take any more issues especially after the antenna outcry after iPhone 4 launch.

The Company Stated White iPhone was “more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected.” Guess, that says it all.

The new Facetime hits Mac : Also poses threat to security

If someone said chatting was not enough, we’ve got video conferencing. To complement that Apple released Facetime for Mac. It’s already hit the devices running iOS ie. iPod Touch and iPhones and now it finally comes to the Macs.

This could be the beginning of a revolution. It could alter they way people communicate with each other on a massive scale. Obviously, Apple has a large user base with iPods and iPhones and now when it comes the the Macs, all can connect with each other for free.

Video conferencing is not something new which Jobs invented and it has been around for a few years, but Apple has leveraged it and organized around it (clearly visible in its products) with Facetime cameras in devices and perfect software to support it. The latest Mac OS 10.7, as we said is being developed on the lines of iOS and a facetime software just adds to its perfection.

Steve Jobs army of developers have made a perfect blend of all products. In short, Jobs is lucidly explaining to us that we must buy the whole Apple family and not just a device. If you get an iPod, you’ve got to have an iPhone to Facetime with and if you’ve got a iPhone you’ve got to have a Mac to Facetime with. Its all interconnected and this gives an impetus to the sale bringing in more profits.

The Threat

The beta version of the software is out on Apple’s website and in few hours, devs have found out a way to exploit the software and how to reset the password of a innocent user.

The information of the apple id including birth date, security question and answer is displayed in plain text and the password can easily be reseted using the forgot password option and the details obtained before. Long way to go, Jobs.
