Windows had gone on and on with the I am a PC commercial insulting Mac over Pricing and many other things. Now It’s Mac’s turn to answer it so here’s their commercial which say’s it out – I am a Mac! Video after the break.
If you’re not satisfied with the First two Commercials where buyers chose a Pc over a Mac by giving different reasons here comes another commercial where a 11 yr old Boy looking to buy a Pc for Gaming comes to a store and buy’s a pc after Refusing a Mac because of its size.
There has been much talk about the Windows Mobile 6.5 in terms of the features it will provide. One of the features which surely got attention of many was the mobile operating system’s support for themes. I decided to get a look at the themes that it will provide. And wow! Microsoft recently warned their users about a possiblilty of an Exploit in Microsofts Powerpoint. Microsoft has asked their users not to download any presentations from any unknown Source.
The Virus Comes in an Email as an attachement with the Email. It may Contain chinese characters. IF the user Downloads the presentation the Virus Gets into the system of the User and passes on Valuable Data to Remote Server. Microsoft stated that it would release a patch for PowerPoint on the coming Tuesday.
The War is not over yet! It had just started! Apple And Microsoft are trying every simple way to Increase their sales. From Opening a “I am a Pc” Stall in from of Mac Store to This Ad. Well Most of you already know that Prices for Buying a Mac are quite high compare to buying A Pc and this is the factor which Microsoft is making Good use of in order to advertise it’s own Products.
While Pc’s Range Start from like $500 Apple Prices Start from $900+ So you can guess the difference and you know that mass population are the not “Big Money” people and so That’s the reason why Pc’s Sell more (at least in India) than Mac’s.
Microsoft Founder Bill Gates has always been full of Great Ideas and this may be one his reasons for success. This time it was another great Idea with which I was surely Impressed.
Bill Gates Freed a Jar of Mosquitoes at Technology, Entertainment, Design (TED) Conference. "Malaria is spread by mosquitoes ", he said before releasing them into the audience. And then what he said was quite shocking, “I brought some. Here I’ll let them roam around. There is no reason only poor people should be infected." I completely Agree with his Point.
He then told the audience that none of the Mosquitoes were carrying the disease. He told "There is more money put into baldness drugs than into malaria. Now, baldness is a terrible thing and rich men are afflicted. That is why that priority has been set."
He said that Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, will begin phase three testing for their Malaria Vaccine. Now that’s something to be called “Big”.
Again? Yes. Microsoft’s internet Explorer has got a new security Flaw (reported I6th of December 08).
This would allow hackers to take control of your computer and steal passwords. Now what can you do about it?

“Microsoft is continuing its investigation of public reports of attacks against a new vulnerability in Internet Explorer.”
But here’s some good news for IE6 Users. The flaw is only there in IE7 not in other versions but there may be, we are not sure.
Take my tip – If you use internet explorer than switch to Firefox or Chrome (these are safe) and then you will thank me for saving your precious data.
What Mac now can be attacked by Viruses? Is it true? Yes? No? What is it?
Some time back Apple had posted on their blog that now there could be viruses for Mac and it also told users to use antivirus programs.
“Apple encourages the widespread use of multiple antivirus utilities so that virus programmers have more than one application to circumvent, thus making the whole virus writing process more difficult.” – This was posted on Apple.
Does this mean that now Mac is no more more immune to viruses? It has been dropped to the level of Windows?
All these question remain a mystery as when the buzz spread and the guys at Apple decided to delete that line and they simply defended themselves by saying that it was from an old post.
Actually no OS is completely immune but MAC is not more vulnerable, you get it they are 2 different points.

I know it is really shocking to know that Microsoft never had a Online store till now but now it does have one Today. Microsoft is back in the race with it’s competitors , Sony in Gaming and others.
Microsoft Recently launched a store named “Microsoft Store“.
Games for Xbox 360 will be available out of which currently few of them are Gears of War 2, Too Human , Halo 3 and others. Pc games like Halo 2, Fable : The lost chapters and others will be available.
Microsoft softwares are also available like Microsoft Office, You have two choices after purchasing it, either download it or order for a CD.
I don’t think so this would work much because Microsoft apart from The retail price will be charging $7 for shipping. I would prefer to use ebay currently until Microsoft understands.
Recently Microsoft started a advertising campaign worth $300 million to combat those funny ads from MAC , those “I am a mac” ads , so that Microsoft could peacefully sell Windows Vista ( Which i don’t think is possible).
