Zune HD : The Perfect iPod Touch Killer

Microsoft has started to get things right, especially with the Launch of Bing and Windows 7. Now, if Zune HD also makes it, then probably Microsoft will continue to win!

iPod Touch users and iPod Lovers were Pretty unhappy about the fact that Camera Wasn’t added to iPod Touch and this being the right time for Microsoft to get in Consumers for their Product! Apart from that, not just timing but the features, Interface and looks also appeal to users.

I would also love to get a hands-on Review on Zune HD but unfortunately it isn’t available in India, and i hope it will be available soon! But Zune HD seems to be getting many positive responses from the Blogosphere, i think it will be the same from users. As far as i have seen videos and read reviews people have already started claiming Zune HD as iPod Touch Killer!

Zune HD has OLEDs which instead of having those mounted lights at the back, they emit their own light. Along with that, it has the HD Radio Capability where you can get Crystal Clear Clarity while listening to HD Radios.

The interface seems to rock. Next, the Marketplace is rival to Apple’s iTunes Store. Although many Apps have not been developed and also the marketplace is also not open to developers worldwide like Apple’s App store but to certain Publishers with which Zune is working. HopeFully, Developers might get access to it, next year. Some Games are also available for free of cost now.

Looks are also one more factor affecting sales of any Product. I know many people, who go on for iPod Nano and not iPod Touch because according to the “iPod Nano is More Good Looking than iPod Touch”, and most can’t deny the fact because of the awesome colors it’s available in. Zune HD is not available in Many Colors but it still has got stunning looks!

It Sells for $220 with a 16 Gb Memory Storage whereas Apple’s iPod Touch Starts at 8gb with a Price of $199.

How Apple Tries to Profit by Not Adding Camera to iPod Touch!

Recently at Apple’s Music Event, they decided to add Camera to iPod Nano and not to iPod Touch. Especially at the KeyNote Direct attack at Flip Video was their plan which was made public by Steve Jobs!

Anyways, Well Most Rumors all over the web were about iPod Touch Getting a Camera. It Didn’t. Actually some of iPod Case Manufacturers released the iPod Touch cases on their websites too. But Unfortunately, it was a waste attempt. (Your Really Dum, if you actually ordered it Before!)

But What could be the Reason why it didn’t add Camera to iPod Nano and not to iPod Touch? Well then, wouldn’t a iPod touch Buyer make a fool out of himself when he would spend $199 for it when he could get a iPod Nano having the Same Storage for $149 but along with a camera? (Prices Mentioned here – iPod Touch and iPod Nano)

iPod : No.1 Music Player in the Worl

But i don’t think this is what Apple Actually thinks. There’s quite a big reason after that step. No.1 That anyone could make out that they obviously want to sell out more iPods. It wouldn’t be boastful but yes, iPods are most sold music players all over the world. And when there’s a new Model, i think atleast 50% of existing customers opt for new models.

Now if we check out our Calender, Christmas is not Much Far and as far as surveys are concerned they state that most of the Sale take place during Christmas, so if Apple Manages to sell out large number of iPod Touch Models this Christmas and later if they make additions to iPod Touch then they could surely make much.. i mean much more Revenue then they could if they would have released it now.

Many More Reasons could be behind this. But the Fact is that, it’s not even 100% Confirmed Wether we are actually going to have iPod Touch with Camera in Future or not but since iPod Nano’s got one, iTouch Must get one.

Palm Punches on Apple’s Face Again : Palm Pre syncs with iTunes 8.2.1 again!

Well, if you read my last post about Apple breaking Palm’s heart by disabling iTune’s syncing capability with Palm Pre then here’s a good new for those sad Pre users.

Yes, Palm Pre’s Syncing with iTunes is back!

With Palm’s Latest update WebOs 1.1 it re-allows you to connect your Palm Pre with iTunes! Rejoice Pre users! So if you’ve not updated your Palm Pre then better get your Over-the-Air update done to get back into action with iTunes!

The Co mpanies Blog post contained a line which said

Oh, and one more thing: Palm webOS 1.1 re-enables Palm media sync. That’s right — you once again can have seamless access to your music, photos and videos from the current version of iTunes (8.2.1).

Let’s wait for Apple’s answer to this!

YouTube Video viewed more than 150 million times, Artist earns $16

The co-author of the song “Never Gonna Give You Up,” which was a complete hit no YouTube with over 150 Million views has just earned about $16, a price for which he can buy his own Cd once. This might be funny for you but he thinks that Google has Exploited him.

I feel like one of those workers, because I earned less for a year’s work off Google or YouTube than they did off the Bahrain government – He told to a newspaper firm.

This is not the first time it has happened but many U.K artists have also criticized Google for not compensating them well.

A YouTube spokesperson said

We absolutely believe that artists should be compensated fairly, But how much the artist gets paid is between the artist and the label

Samsung’s new P3 may be the iPod Nano Killer

After Samsung’s successful Media Player P2, Samsung has come out with its successor P3. The Gadget has a sleek and stylish design. This gadget has awesome speakers with great clarity. 3 versions of this gadget are available, 8/16/32 Gb. Also the prices are quite reasonable – US $150 , $200 , $300 respectively. One of the Major DrawBacks are that it does not have Wi-Fi so there are no chances of this competing with iPod Touch.

It has got a really pretty GUI. P3 has got a 3-inch touchscreen. The design is really very good and looks attractive. It’s interface is Similar to the older verion (p2), simple and touch Based. Samsung may be able to overpower Apple’s Ipod Nano but iPod Touch, there’s no Chance.

Play music online according to your mood by using an interactive interface!

Now are you having a party? Don’t know which song to play or you want to play a song which you don’t have? Don’t Worry, I have the solution!

Musicovery, a music website allows users to play music according to your mood or the ocassion. It has got a cool interface too. You can select genres and then further go search for the song by using their interactive tools. Like if you click on the category globe near Energetic it will play a Wacky song which will make you dance! (please dance like no ones seeing because thats called true dancing, Right??).

This will be available on Mobile also so now its not a big problem. And one more new feature is that you can get a songs remixes and all other versions too , all for free.

And all this is free of costs but since the website completely runs on flash except the ads (Google may put text or banner and maybe flash) the website may load slowly on 56 kbs modems (no one has it currently but somepeople do!) but it is surely worth wait.

My tip: Please always try to visit websites with least flash material because your isp costs may rise and then you will have to pay the bill!

Use Google to download mp3 songs directly from the internet

Using limewire? Ares? Why are you wasting time downloading those torrents to download your mp3 songs when you can use Google to do it! Yes!

Use this simple hack to download Songs directly from websites without wasting much time looking into every damn page to find the download link!

Paste this in your Google Search BOx -

-inurl:(htmhtmlphp) intitle:”index of” +”last modified” +”parent directory” +description +size +(wmamp3) “

And also please replace “BANDNAME/SONG” with your band name or the songs name. And then just hit search. You have done it!

Whats in the code? I’ll tell you.

The inurl thing tells Google to find pages which are wither Htm, Html or Php. What this does is actually narrows down search so that you can get websiets containing the Direct link to download the song. NIce and easy, insn’t it? (It’s not time consuming so bookmark this page, to get the code later on!)
