Apple Store 2.0 : Revolution of retail ecosystem?

Apple’s constantly lurching on the news headlines for something or the other. Yes, 9to5Mac had posted earlier about a possibility that Apple would revamp their retail stores and coming of a Apple Store 2.0. That’s what exactly happened.

Since Australia falls on the other side of the world, it got its refresh ahead of U.S launch. All the paper on the shelves is gone. All they have is their products and the iPads with a brilliantly built application exclusively for the retail stores to help customers.

It also boasts a click to call a Apple Representative button which almost immediately gets you some aid. What they did is not more important than what this could possibly mean for the retail ecosystem. Till years, they’ve been practicing the traditional methods of Come, See and Buy. Making iPads fit in somewhere sure adds interactivity and ease of use while promoting the product itself.

We will keep you updated on whether this change did really affect Apple sales or not.

The 100,000 App Glory for Apple : 10K downloads per day for T Pain App!

iphone_app_store
Apple’s App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch Recently crossed over 100,000 apps made by developers world wide! This is something which Apple should be proud of (perhaps, it is).

Currently they are serving over 50 Million iPod and iPhone users, and the latest app, I Am T-Pain crossed off all the records with mind blowing 10,000 Downloads per day. The Total count of apps downloaded has crossed 2 Billion!

One of the Strongest Reasons why the App Store succeeded was because the whole new Saga about the Multi-Touch interface which wasn’t much popular in those days when iPhone was released. It gave developers a great chance to explore the new technology and with so many apps being sold everyday a better business opportunity too.

And now when Apple already has a very large user base, it’s surely going to attract the big players in the Market, especially EA Sports, one of the best Game Makers in the world who have made couple of apps which have been great success on App Store like Sims 3 and the Latest Fifa 10.

The Latest Addition was that there came a Genius for Apps, just like the one like music where it showed related songs, now it shows related apps to your current apps. Neat.
