The art of writing Catchy Tweets / Headlines

Tweeting is also an Art, something which come’s from within! Just kidding. But yes, writing catchy headlines is an art though which you should know especially if your a blogger or a marketer.

Here are simple things which i have noticed from Pro-Tweeters!

  1. Make it As short as possible. 140 Characters is a whole lot of place to include your content so try to make sure your tweet actually doesn’t cross more than 100 Characters because if you want Rt’s make sure you leave some place for the Credit given to tweeters.
  2. Make it Simple. Instead of writing – “Apple’s iPod touch may soon have a Camera” try writing it in a interesting way like “What? Will my iPod have a Camera?”
  3. Make it a more comment-able topic for people to find a reason, as to why they should retweet and make their comment on the link heard to the rest of the world.
  4. Make it Aggressive! If it’s a posting about a certain product then try to include it’s Competitor also into the tweet as this tweet will drag attention of people interested in your product as well as in the competitors!
  5. Finally, Wait for the time. Please don’t post your tweets at such times when the rest of the world is busy sleeping. Try tweeting when most of the world’s awake to get the most attention :)

No time to waste. Please Change your TimeZone on Twitter and Facebook to that of Tehran.  You can do it on Twitter by changing your location to tehran and do the same on Facebook.

The reason for this is Because the Security Forces of Iran are trying to Shut down the accounts of Tweeters and FaceBookers who are keeping us updated on what’s happening in Iran. So Changing our Time Zone would keep those Brave people safe from the Security Forces from Shutting down their accounts as it would make it very difficult to find people who are actually in Iran.

A 17 year old Girl, attempted something very weird for which she had to lose her life. The Romanian Girl was tweeting while bathing in her Bathtub.

She might have thought that tweeting from Bathtub would save her time but unfortunately there’s no time for her to live. When the girl tried to plug in her Laptops charger with a wet hand she got electrocuted (In simple terms : She got the Shock of her life) and died on the spot.

TweetPsych uses two linguistic analysis algorithms (RID and LIWC) to build a psychological profile of a person based on the content of their tweets. The service analyzes your last 1000 tweets and works best on users who have posted more than 1000 updates. Social Networking compared to 5 years back was nothing as it is today. But looking at the statistics with growth over 200%, do you think it is doing any good to us?

Researches confirming that Twitter Makes us immoral, Scientists telling that Social Networking websites like FaceBook may end Face to Face meet up which may lead to cancer and many weird Results coming out like Couple splitting because of Second Life, and so on.

These Website’s are causing more harm than they are doing good , Scientists Claim.

Today, Apart from All these things, they are taking a Very precious thing from users, that is time. Yes, People spending 5-6 hours just writing short status updates rather than performing some, Playing some dum Car games and challenging other people to do so and score more points them, Answering useless quizzes. And if we see that 4o% of the population of the Social Networking websites are Under 18 and so this may lead to lowering of their Grades.

Also not this but increase in Cyber Crime has also increased since the invention of these websites because this is a tool which gives any user the power of anonymity which is very dangerous. Social Networking websites like Twitter, have become mainstream which means that they control spreading of most information and therefore indirectly making them the rulers and this can also lead to spread of Wrong Information for which no one can be blamed because of Anonymity.

With Social Networking Getting Attention from All sources including press, Television, Radio and so on, You have no other choice than to join it.

Twitter to Release “Verified Accounts” Feature soon to end Fake Accounts

While there is Fake Shah Rukh Khan and many other Fake Tweeters on Twitter, here’s a bad news for all of them.

Twitter Said that they will be releasing a Verified Accounts Feature where Only Official Accounts will be able to get that seal and this would end the Fake Accounts. 

There have been many problems because this matter lately. Twitter hopes to release this Feature this Summer.

Verified Accounts, is a seal which will assure you that the account Belongs to that Person as He/She is indicating.
