Youtube to Users : Yay, we have got 1 Billion Views per day!

Youtube, is used by Bloggers, Dancers, Musicians, teachers, students, and some idiots, who put on useless stuff. And how did i forget, those Marketers who use Youtube as Viral Marketing tool! Anyways, because of having so many users, it is obvious it does have a large audience.

So there it goes, Today Youtube changed it’s logo a bit, to tell the world it gets 1 Billion Views everyday. Well, Google did acquire it for a heft amount ($1.65 Billion) but it seems it’s not been able to make any profits and Youtube is taking of lot of bandwidth. So thats the Reason why Youtube is pushing into Deals with Companies to serve Music Videos and is also experimenting various advertising Models. Way to go, Youtube!

I access youtube from my iPod and Cell Phone even more than i do it from my Computer. It’s obvious that Google does notice it.

Now if more people are using it, it will surely want to improve the current Interface and make it more easy for people to access, share and watch videos online on youtube. So recently when i checked out the YouTube homepage i found it as

Well later i learnt from the Youtube blog that they had launched a new version of their website for Mobile devices which will make our job a hell lot easier. I like it. It will be available for iPhone, G1, Palm Pre and many more. Just check it out from your mobile device and enjoy!

Youtube mobile uploads shoot up 400% : But was it too late for Apple?

Not even a week had passed and Apple had completed the sale of their 1 millionth iPhone 3GS. But with that the new feature that came in was Video Recording. With the help of it’s 3 Megapixel Camera and Features like AutoFocus iPhone users are tremendously contributing to youtube.

Is it Good or Bad for youtube? Only time will tell, when the revenues are out but for know this seems to be a good news. But the main question is here that is apple too late with the Video Recording feature? The Earlier Generations lacked the capability of Video recording. But then It’s never too late as Apple decided to finally provide users with this feature. If the earlier generation would have been equipped with Video Recording capabilities then the Growth of YouTube would have doubled with the amount of iPhone’s sold till date.

In this one Week i received many requests asking, how can we download a song in mp3 format or any of theses – wav, wmv, avi, mov. I tried to find out ways and here’s What i Found.

You can convert the video online and download it to your computer in your desired format. All you need to do is just copy the url of the video like – “youtube.com/?watch=ojahdfui2ijhijw” and then paste it on to the Conversion bar at YoutubetoMp3.net. You can find many websites like this on the web, just Google “convert youtube video to mp3“. But i prefer the website mentioned above.
Another Way of downloading Youtube Videos as songs would be Getting a software called “Get-Tube” for Mac. To run this software you need to first Download it and then after installing just open your Browser i.e Safari or FireFox (These 2 browsers are only supported) and then go to the url of your Video. After that just launch the Application gettube and wait for the application to Recognize your Url and start downloading it

For those Who directly want to download youtube videos to your computer just go to KissYoutube.com and download your Youtube video to your desktop from there.

Google News add YouTube videos for news content

Most of us are more comfortable in watching news rather than having to read it. I think Google News has realized this fact and has decided to add YouTube videos alongside its collection of news content. This move enables users to watch YouTube video clips if available related to the news.

If there exists a video clip for a given story, you will observe a YouTube icon below the snippet about the news. Just click on it, which will show the YouTube media player, and you can watch the related video right from the Google News page. Personally speaking, I love this feature. Do tell me your thought about this new feature.

Apple rolls out pre-release of OS 3.0 beta 5

Previously I informed you about iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 4 release. In this post, I will be informing you about the Beta 5 release of iPhone OS 3.0. As per the trend the Beta 5 contains bug fixes but that is not all that it contains. Reports say that MMS is a thing in the past and is no longer available. The methods used to enable WiFi are now prevented. Also improvements have been made to the YouTube as well. Now YouTube will stream high quality videos for users using 3G, the same was previously reserved for WiFi users. Last but not the least, ammendments have been made to the StoreKit.To get hold of this latest beta release developers can go to the Developer Center.

QuickTime X to support YouTube videos

A few days back, I wrote a post informing you about the screen recording features embedded in QuickTime X Player. Well this time around, I am here to inform you about another feature that you can expect with QuickTime X. QuickTime player to be released with Mac OS X 10.6 is likely to provide support to YouTube videos.

To be more specific, QuickTime will enable users to upload supported video files to YouTube.User will be required to provide user name and password, rest will be done by Apple’s Media player. QuickTime will also be responsible for optimizing file for YouTube, video sharing site and uploading to the respective user account.

The things are getting better for QuickTime X. Lets hope that it keeps on continuing.

Watch Full Length Television Shows and Movies on YouTube!

It’s Official! From Today you can watch all your favorite Television Shows and Movies on Youtube. Youtube has partnered with Crackle, CBS, MGM, Lionsgate and Starz to provide us with thousands of Television Episodes and movies.

They have added many 2 tabs – Shows and Subscriptions (users can subscribe and stay updated with the fresh content) to the Navigation Menu. My last Post had some calculations which stated YouTube annually had a loss of 165 Million Dollars every year so in order to cover it up YouTube will now be showing in-Stream-Ads. This is completely different from what you watch on Television.

Shows and Movies are currently available to the U.S only but in some time the Subscription would be made available through out the world. Nice step taken up by YouTube!
