Xbox update to bring in Twitter and Facebook Integrations : It is Official

Recently there was some rumor floating on the web, as to Xbox may get some Social Networking features, to it’s existing service.

Well, these rumors are true now, and have been officially confirmed by Microsoft while talking to MTV. What can you Expect? Twitter, FaceBook and Last.fm integrations.  This means, gaming along with Social Networking side by side is what you can expect in this Public Beta.

Sharing games your playing, checking out other users profiles, and status timelines could be the few of basic features available to the users. The update will be rolled out this month soon to some selected users, ahem ahem, i did say selected users.

You’ve got lots of work to do at office? Can’t afford to miss even a day at work, because of getting sick and staying home due to Swine Flu? Or perhaps you don’t like those non-stylish masks?

Japanese Company Haruyama Trading has made a Suit, which looks like any other normal suit but does the function of preventing you form Swine Flu. It is coated with titanium dioxide which is responsible for killing those viruses which cause swine flu. 

It Costs $580, like any other decent suit at Men’s Wearhouse cost. Perhaps, you can expect to see people around in those suits soon (If your in Japan)!

21 yr old guy makes £1 million from Online Game

Picture 4Lots of Young people have taken over the web. Latest Blogs, Apps, everything is no being manufactured by thr young geniuses. 

There’s this guy named Joe Chedburn, has made a game called Torn, which is based on Crime and stuff like that. But the most amazing part of the game is that it is only “text-based”. No Graphics, No Animation.

Then how did he make £1 Million? Tough Question though. His game has 4o,000 active users with over 1.3 Million Registered users. 

Playing the game is damn simple. It’s completely free. But if you want bonus points and goodies, you’ve got to pay £3. Now, the users don’t find it a high amount and go for it and this makes the Monthly income over £1 Million.

Well, the creator stressed on the fact, that the game was not mean for killing people in some virtual city but to Make Friends. He also said that one couple married because of his creation. Amazing, if any one who is single, and wants to hook up with someone you’ve got to join, Torn.

Impressive Stuff. I hope, even i reach out to something like that later in my life!

10,000+ Hotmail accounts cracked open, Twitter Admin Interface Cracked, 100′s of Worpress blogs Cracked, Web Worms on the move affection Millions of Computers within less than weeks. Where is the Web Going?

Really, i am sick of taking security measures against all these threats. Every Second day, some or the other worm appears showing some precautions needed to be taken.

The thing i can’t understand is, first we humans make everything, then try to break into it and then harm ourselves by by doing so. What has happened to the web? I mean, everyone in the world is trying to something or the other to make money online, and in this trial many end up in jails. Why? Funny Answer would be because he took 0.10 cents from 1 Million Accounts.

There is no end to human thinking, we will go on making stuff with which we ourselves will be surprised and then there will be some who will claim to find loopholes in the creation and try to exploit.

People are just finding ways to fool few of them and make some bucks out of it, without knowing what danger they could get in. Nowdays, youngsters getting in to technology and if they remain ignorant to the dangers of Internet, they are surely in some mess.

Like, the Adnan Patrawala Accident, where the youngster lost his life, all because of his ignorance about protecting his sensitive information and being careful with sharing information online.

When is this going to end?

Note : This post does not intend to harm the term “hackers” or hacking as whole but this post only underlines the harmful sides of Technology. Often Hacking is wrongly understood as evil act, but it’s not what your thinking, it’s like finding loopholes and *not* taking  advantage of it, but trying to improve it.

5 things to do before starting any Project : Learning from My mistakes

My First Project and my last Project has a vast difference. It’s Obvious. But i don’t want my readers to go through the same, but get the best one at the first shot. After all there is a saying 

Fools Learn from Mistakes. Sages Learn from History

In accordance with that i am going to tell you 5 things to keep in mind before starting any Project and it will surely help you.

  1. Resource Management:  It’s Damn Important to first figure out what resources will be needed for your work. May it be Time, Money or Hard, it must be calculated. If not, then your project will become a Unsolved Jigsaw Puzzle where you are trying to fit in pieces from some other puzzle. You must know how much hard work, time and money you are to spend on your project. Only then you can go ahead with it Systematically.
  2. Planning Execution  : Next what comes in is Planning the Execution. As per my post on Marketing on my Blog Blannk, i claim Execution as the third and the most important part that comes in any action plan. If you get that right, nearly 50% of your project is a hit. But you need to be very careful with this one. It should be controlled and most important, targeted. If it’s not Targeted then it makes no difference then teaching a Window Cleaner to do Programming. 
  3. How will it Affect you : Advantages/Disadvantages are must to calculate. Think about it, without any bias. Just enlist what harm or benefit will it do to you. Then Decide which of the two over power each other. And then what? It’s simple. Go ahead with the better plan. For Example – I am a Chief Minister and i have got Two Plans To approve : Metro Development and Sea Link Development and i have Funds to Support any one only then which one will i go for?

  4. What Reaction You Expect : It’s Always very Good to just enlist what types of Reactions you expect from the Community towards your project, it always helps. Let’s Say for Example i am working on a Music Portal : It will be always good for me to imagine myself as the user himself and then work on the plan. It will help us give a better understanding as to how much the project will work out. 
  5. Never Ever Rush up things : Most Important off all. Always Maintain your Calm and work out the project peacefully. The thing is that as soon as you start rushing up things, your concentration is shattered. You may even try to finish multiple things together but never works out because we are not Windows, we can Minimize our Tasks ;)

    Knowing your Limits :  Well Quotes which tell you that man has no limits are good untill put into practice. It’s Quite True that everyone has limits and it’s very important to judge them before putting anyone to work. You must judge out your’s and others capacity to work before putting anyone to work. You ask someone to the work of a Editor when he himself can’t complete his job of being an author! Now you only tell, someone who can’t manage his own content and thoughts, how til he manage others?

iTunes 9 to have a few social aspects

A rumor is flying around that iTunes 9 will bring with a few social features as well. The source that came up with this news informed that with iTunes 9, there is a possibility that you will be able to broadcast the songs you are listening to a variety of social networks. The thing which is more interesting is that Apple might be planning to create a new social application. There is no clarity of that app being an iPhone app or a desktop app. But whatever it is, it is believed that this app will provide a central platform for performing your social networking activity. I think it would be an iPhone app to take the spotlight away from Apple’s rather controversial decision to reject Google Voice.

Friendfeed has been facebooked : Yes, FriendFeed is a part now a part of Facebook

It’s official now, FriendFeed has been Taken over by one of the fastest growing social networks, Facebook. 

How does it affect me?

Well right now, there won’t be any difference between how FriendFeed is working, so you can log into your account as usual and the API will also work as it Earlier used to.

What’s new then?

Well in their blog post, friendfeed said that currently friendfeed will continue to work as usual but future plans will be integrating it with the 250 Million member community, Facebook.

Facebook today announced that it has agreed to acquire FriendFeed, the innovative service for sharing online. As part of the agreement, all FriendFeed employees will join Facebook and FriendFeed’s four founders will hold senior roles on Facebook’s engineering and product teams.

“Facebook and FriendFeed share a common vision of giving people tools to share and connect with their friends,” said Bret Taylor, a FriendFeed co-founder and, previously, the group product manager who launched Google Maps. “We can’t wait to join the team and bring many of the innovations we’ve developed at FriendFeed to Facebook’s 250 million users around the world.”
