Fake Email ScreenShot
I just received a mail from A Google Employee saying that they will ban my website from appearing on their search engine, i though it might be a prank but then i checked the email id from which it had been sent it was “[email protected]” and even i was shocked. then i mailed google about it and then sent me a reply that no such email address exists. But then who sent me this?
I then tried to find it out and found that this a fake email. It is generated by Fake mail generators. One Example of it is DeadFake.

There is great danger to those who do online banking. Especially if you use Paypal it is great danger. Before some major internet banking websites announced that you could do online banking and to check wether it was from the original website you had to see the receivers email address, but know how can how depend on it when someone can send you his own message from the bank’s email address?
I figured it out and here are some of my tips to you to prevent and reduce the fake mail stuff

  • Try to keep a secret account , i.e it should not be known to anyone except the banking authorities (if you bank) or anyone whom you trust.
  • Be careful when you click. First check out which link are you clicking. if it leads to any other website rather than the one mentioned without thinking just click “Delete”.
  • If the mail is in Junk try not to access it , i.e don’t try to read it if it is in Junk as the Filters for Email’s are quite good and they know what is right and what is wrong.
  • I prefer you to Use Gmail or Hotmail (Best for Online Merchants and Bankers) as the filters are the best of all.
  • Try to read the Email language carefully and figure out the language used as this may help you figure out the that is really fake?
  • Never ever reveal your Bank or any necessary passwords at any other website while registering , try keeping a secret password for you “Most Important Accounts” as the passwords on other sites can be accessed by the local Webmasters and so you are in great danger.
  • Fake mailers generally contain signatures so try to find out any sign of it and if you can detect it than you are just saved from becoming a cyber victim.
