Youtube in pptI know people love inserting Youtube videos into Powerpoint presentations. But how will you do it without downloading it?

An easy way to do it is to first use a plugin for ppt called LiveWeb which allows users to embed live web pages into a powerpoint presentation. After Downloading and getting it installed read this blog post if you want to know more on how to use it and then return back here for other instructions.

After doing that go to the youtube page and copy the embed code (generally given in the left).

Something like this
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-bVRSmpNPQ&hl=en&fs=1]

After Getting the code , lets do some work. Paste it in notepad and find these words “embed src”.
Just after it you will see a url , it will be like – (please click on the image to see the larger version)

notepad view

Copy the url and then simply add it to your ppt and then you have a Youtube video in your ppt without downloading it!

Alternate option – All you need to download is Camtasia Studio and then you are ready for it.

What this software does is that it records your screen so all you have to do is to first start the video on youtube and then start Camtasia Studio and let it record the screen , the edit the Video and crop it such that only the video is visible.

Then you can easily insert youtube video into it! I know The software i told you is very expensive but you can download the trial or work with the crack version for free.
