Wifi signalsEver wondered that that when you enter a Wifi enabled area but it is password protected what will you do? Actually if it’s named like linksys or anything else it obviously shows that the owner does not have the time to change the name than why will he put a password.

But some connections have default password and the owner thinks he is safe but he is not. I found a complete list of default password. the complete list of password is here – www.phenoelit-us.org

The most common ones are listed below

d style="vertical-align:top;">

Vendor Model Version Access Type Username PASSWORD Privileges Notes
3COM CellPlex 7000 Telnet root (none) Admin
3COM Switch 3300XM Multi admin admin Admin
3COM LANplex 2500 Telnet tech tech

This a live example of how someone can steal your connection so don’t be lazy, be sure to change your wifi pass or some terrorist may use it to send a threating email.

  • hi ,
if the connection is secured with a different password, then how can we hack that..?
  • How would that matter, the hacker needs to be able to connect to the wifi before he can login to the admin area. So default passwords dont matter, unless u are connected in the first place.
