Twitter is Transforming into a link Sharing Tool : Digg, Stumbleupon better get ready!

I don’t know if many people know this or not but the true fact is that Twitter which was meant for Posting your personal Updates is now slowly transforming into a link house. 

So here’s what i did To prove that Twitter is becoming morever becoming a link-sharing tool.

What i did :

1.) I opened the twitter’s public timeline and observed. I found that every 3rd tweet has a link. I refreshed the page more than 60 times so all the time i saw new tweets from new tweepl.

2.) I went to Twitter Search and searched for http and the results i got were amazing. And with what speed they were updated were zooom….. More than 3100 Link Updates per 30 seconds. You yourself can try but you will find that the number will be different because of the time zones all over the world.

The Fact is true. I think that people are forgetting that twitters actual purpose is for people to post their Personal updates. Well, posting links is not wrong but i think that twitter may replace Stumbleupon, Digg , Reddit and others in Future.
