Twitter Introduces new following limits to control spam

Twitter Recently introduced new twitter following limits, twitter user can follow only 1000 people everyday. Now, This applies on every twitter user includin celebrities!! So now the question is that will people like this step taken by twitter to stop Spam?? Have your say in the poll below.
