The co-author of the songĀ  “Never Gonna Give You Up,” which was a complete hit no YouTube with over 150 Million views has just earned about $16, a price for which he can buy his own Cd once. This might be funny for you but he thinks that Google has Exploited him.

I feel like one of those workers, because I earned less for a year’s work off Google or YouTube than they did off the Bahrain government – He told to a newspaper firm.

This is not the first time it has happened but many U.K artists have also criticized Google for not compensating them well.

A YouTube spokesperson said

We absolutely believe that artists should be compensated fairly, But how much the artist gets paid is between the artist and the label
