Linux tries to match fire with fire!

Can you guess which operating system was released besides Windows 7 on 22nd October. Here is a hint its open source. If your answer is Ubuntu, then you are bang on target.
Canonical released the release candidate (RC) of Ubuntu 9.10 this Thursday. Ubuntu 9.10 codenamed Karmic Koala is the latest version of the ever popular Linux OS. Final version of Ubuntu 9.10 will be released on Oct 29 as per company’s release schedule.
An image of the OS is available for download on Ubuntu’s Web site. TheĀ RC is available for download in three versions which include the server, desktop and netbook versions.
